Becoming A Member


If you are a current or former religious leader, for example, pastor, minister, priest, nun, rabbi, imam or theologian, you can contact The Clergy Project after reviewing the information below.

Screening


The goal of screening potential members is to protect the anonymity of our members while still providing an opportunity for active and former clergy to be welcomed into our community. Our screening process involves several stages, including disclosure of information regarding your history as a pastor, minister, priest, nun, monk, rabbi, imam, or theologian. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our screeners will not disclose any information that you share.

Qualifications


Members are current or former religious leaders, including pastors, ministers, priests, nuns, monks, rabbis, imams and theologians. Our members no longer hold supernatural beliefs and choose to identify as non-believers, for instance humanists, freethinkers, agnostics and/or atheists or other type of non-theists.

Privacy


Privacy is a crucial component of membership. We do not disclose the location or names of our members. If members choose to release this information to other members they are free to do so. All information shared on the site is confidential. Failure to comply with our privacy policy will result in the revoking of your membership.
